What’s a Eurener panel like?
Eurener manufactures monocrystalline silicon panels in their Spanish facility. The panel range covers standard residential sizes (typically panels typically rated 460W (we standardise on 460W where possible)) with both all-black and silver-frame finishes.
Specs comparable to mainstream tier panels:
- Peak efficiency around 20-21%
- Annual degradation around 0.55% per year
- After 25 years, around 86% of rated output
- 25-year product and performance warranty
- IEC certified, MCS approved
Eurener panels are functionally equivalent to mainstream Asian-manufactured panels on efficiency and durability. The difference is provenance, not raw performance.

When Eurener is the right choice
Eurener suits customers who:

- Are comfortable with mainstream panel performance specs (i.e. not chasing the absolute cutting edge of efficiency)

Common questions about Eurener
01 Where exactly are Eurener panels made?
Spanish manufacturing facilities. Eurener publishes facility addresses and audit documentation on request.
02 Is Eurener as efficient as the latest AIKO TOPCon panels?
Not quite. Eurener uses mature P-type PERC technology, which delivers 20-21% efficiency versus AIKO’s 23%+ with N-type TOPCon. For most installs the difference is roughly 5-10% lower annual generation per panel. If you’re tight on roof space, that may matter; on most roofs it doesn’t.
03 Why does EU manufacturing cost more?
Higher labour costs, stricter environmental regulations, smaller manufacturing scale than dominant Chinese players. The premium is typically 10-15% above mainstream Asian panels.
04 Will Eurener pay back the EU manufacturing premium?
The economic case for Eurener over AIKO or mainstream alternatives isn’t strictly financial / it’s about provenance preference. If your purchase decision is driven by sustainability, ethics, or procurement policy, Eurener is the answer. If it’s driven purely by lifetime cost of energy, SunPower wins.
05 Can I mix Eurener panels with other brands?
We don’t recommend it. Different panel manufacturers have different electrical specifications, which complicates inverter sizing and warranty handling. Pick one panel brand for your install.
