Jonathan and Jane came to Greenscape through Solar Together Cambridgeshire, having long been committed to reducing their environmental impact through recycling, water conservation, and more. The cost of solar had always given them pause, but with energy prices rising and their family's encouragement ringing in their ears, the case for going solar — for both the planet and their bills — became impossible to set aside.
Eight solar panels with a 3kW capacity were installed on their south-facing roof, paired with a hybrid inverter and two Pylon batteries totalling 4.8kWh — with a further 2.4kWh battery due to be added. When a minor issue arose with one of the sub-contractors, it was resolved quickly and generously. The aftercare has been equally impressive, with Greenscape proactively staying in touch with advice and suggestions.
While a full year of data is still pending, the savings are already clear. On sunny days — even in winter — Jonathan and Jane can run their oven without drawing a single unit from the grid. A small but deeply satisfying measure of the energy independence they set out to achieve.
Our family were at pains to point out that we'd be doing it for the environment — and for our grandchildren!

Had my Air Con installed today.. Could not fault the two installers who attended. . Arrived nice and early, took a look around outside and indoors no hesitation in starting work and confirming where I wanted the appliance. Shoes off each time they entered house and completed the tidy up after themselves. Remote and operation of A/C explained to me.. Good work, keep it up.

Easy payment by credit card
I've just had solar panels, battery and EV charger installed by Mark and Luke. They arrived a little early, did the job as quietly as possible with no fuss, and have finished much earlier than I'd expected. Mark then explained what's what, which I think I'll remember. Couldn't expect more. Scaffolding subcontractor was similarly efficient putting the scaffolding up. The back office and survey staff have been friendly and efficient too. It has been good to be able to visit the showroom office in Ipswich.
