Louise had been on oil heating for years — expensive, temperamental, and unpleasant after servicing, with fumes lingering in the home for days. Living off the gas grid in Frettenham, and having experienced several planned power outages in recent years, energy resilience was just as important as sustainability. After a successful solar and Tesla Powerwall installation through Norfolk Solar Together, Louise returned to Greenscape to complete her renewable journey with an ASHP.
A WPL A07 ASHP was installed in October 2024, with all radiators upgraded as part of the proposed solution. A competing quote from another installer offered a cheaper Vaillant system, but Greenscape's detailed heat loss survey gave Louise greater confidence in the outcome. UKPN also upgraded the local transformer and meter tails at no additional cost, and the old oil tank was drained and removed — the recovered fuel found a new home elsewhere.
Prior to renewables, the household burned through roughly 1.5 oil tanks per year at around £1,000 each, on top of a £300 monthly energy bill. Savings are still being tracked after the first full year, but the transformation from noisy, smelly oil to quiet, consistent renewable heat has already made its mark.

Had my Air Con installed today.. Could not fault the two installers who attended. . Arrived nice and early, took a look around outside and indoors no hesitation in starting work and confirming where I wanted the appliance. Shoes off each time they entered house and completed the tidy up after themselves. Remote and operation of A/C explained to me.. Good work, keep it up.

I've just had solar panels, battery and EV charger installed by Mark and Luke. They arrived a little early, did the job as quietly as possible with no fuss, and have finished much earlier than I'd expected. Mark then explained what's what, which I think I'll remember. Couldn't expect more. Scaffolding subcontractor was similarly efficient putting the scaffolding up. The back office and survey staff have been friendly and efficient too. It has been good to be able to visit the showroom office in Ipswich.
